If they had service charges in the wizarding world of Harry Potter, I'm pretty sure this is what the customer emails back would look like... All joking aside, every enquiry is a huge learning opportunity if you're willing to listen.

Service Charges can provide an insight into satisfaction far beyond the charges themselves and provide you with a roadmap to better customer communications. Ask yourself:

  • Are you taking the time to learn from enquiries that come in?

  • Are you recording your most common enquiry types and analysing WHY they exist?

  • Are you using one of your largest annual resident communications to your greatest benefit?

  • What can you do better next year?

When you start to do these things, that's when the real magic happens - no matter what world you're in.
